Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website, areteglobalgroup.com, is operated by Arete Global LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States (“Arete Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about this policy at contact@areteglobalgroup.com.

2. Scope

This policy applies only to this website. Our businesses, Kaizen Imports and Arete Quanta, operate their own websites, which may have their own privacy policies. When you follow a link to one of those websites, its policy applies.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, we collect your full name, email address, company name (optional), the type of inquiry, and the content of your message. Please do not include sensitive information, such as financial, health, or government identification details, in your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
  • Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used (for example, which pages are visited and from which countries). It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not identify you personally. Visitors are counted using a temporary, anonymized identifier that is discarded within 24 hours.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so the website remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

5. How we use your information

  • To read and respond to your inquiry, and to continue any resulting business conversation.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.
  • To prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent use of the contact form.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the website: our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel Inc.) and a third-party email delivery provider that forwards contact form messages to our inbox. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Our businesses. If your inquiry concerns Kaizen Imports or Arete Quanta, we may share it with the team operating that business so they can respond. Both are operated by Arete Global LLC.
  • Legal and safety reasons. Where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Arete Global, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

7. How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to manage any business relationship that follows, and for any longer period required by law or needed to resolve disputes. When the information is no longer needed, we delete it. Server logs and analytics data are retained by our providers for limited periods under their own retention practices.

8. International visitors and data transfers

Arete Global is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses used by our service providers.

9. Your rights

All visitors

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have sent us, or to stop contacting you. Email contact@areteglobalgroup.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

United States residents

Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. You may make a request yourself or through an authorized agent.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we process your information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating a secure website, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal information; to restrict or object to its processing; and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Japan

If you are in Japan, you may request disclosure, correction, addition, or deletion of your personal information, and request that we stop using it or stop providing it to third parties, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). Your information is handled under the safeguards described in this policy when it is processed in the United States.

10. Security

The website is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on this page.
